Tamian Wood worked on three issues of Miambiance, the Kendall Campus literature and arts magazine at Miami Dade College. Those three issues won more design awards than any other in the magazine's fifteen-year history. She is both professional and creative, a combination not easily found in the same person.

As an author and publisher of children’s books, I am very happy to recommend Tamian Wood as a designer. In 2005 she designed the front and back covers for a series of children’s books that were reprinted in August. She took five (5) dull and unappealing covers and rejuvenated them into something very attractive and colorful. I have been delighted with her originality and obvious talent. She injects the qualities of whimsy and humor into her work – very nice considerations when doing work that would appeal to children. She was very professional in her approach and dedicated in meeting deadlines. She gets clever, original ideas that have proved to be very effective.
